Ball...Ball...and More Ball

It is about this time of the year that I start to lose my excitement for ball season.  Don't get me wrong..I still love watching the kids play...its just that the heat rising...the miles are being racked up...and concession stand food just isn't as appealing as it once was.  We are getting near the end of the Pee Wee season...just a few more games and the tournament.

Callie has impressed me with her attention to the game, constant chatter ("hey, batta'-batta'!) and playing her position and bag.

Abbie didn't catch much this year...which she is probably happy with since it is such a hot job!  She really impressed me with her batting this year...solid stance and as the season advances, she is hitting great!

I still miss having them on a softball team..hoping we will have enough girls to start one back up next year.  If not, at least I now know they are tough enough to hang with the boys!
