The last few Easters, my family tends to gather together...fly kites..and enjoy the day with each other. This year was no different...except it wasn't Easter! We decided to get together a bit earlier this year, since we would be meeting up once again for Cody's graduation.
It was a perfect, sunny spring filled day!
The kites were dragged out of their hiding spots...
...and got a chance to fill the sky with color! Of course, mom had to showoff her "kite-flying" skills! 
The guys tossed around some ball with the kids and a frisbee soon made its way into the fun.
We headed down to the pond where the kids challenged each other to a game of Bocce ball!
Mark gathered up some wood so we could get to the good part...FOOD!
The day was filled with some great family memories....
...and all seemed right in the world!
