*We finally were able to get a taste of fresh air and what better way to enjoy the air than to fly kites in it!
*Madi wanted to get here hair highlighted and cut for her Birthday present....so she did! This is the first time she had been to a salon! Isn't she lovely? hee-hee
*Speaking of Birthdays...Madi had a Photo Scavenger Hunt and slumber party! Needless to say, it was a LOUD night at our house! Check out the pics from the party at Madi's blog: http://www.mymatz.blogspot.com/
*Syd serenaded us with a lovely trumpet solo...complete with a little golden number she dug out of the dress up box. It was entertaining.....aspirin, please.
*The Junior High had the chance to dance their socks off...at the "Sock Hop"!
*Callie and Abbie got so jealous from seeing Madi's golden locks..they just had to make a trip to the salon for themselves! OK...ok....I admit! There was no jealousy...no begging...no pleading tears...it was all for me! But just look at those little ragmuffins....I guess homemade haircuts catch up with a person after a few years!!! Had to take a quick snap...this is the only time they have looked totally different! It didn't last long...snip, snip!

Were your ears burning or what? I was just thinking that none of my blog-list peeps had posted in a bit. And then this popped up! As always--the girls are beautiful (even with foil!)!
