Welcome to Four Chickadees and Me blog! It is here that I share my often pointless thoughts...my over stressed feelings and stories that are just to crazy to keep to myself! And yes...most include my girls I like to think of as my little chickadees...they indeed follow me everywhere!

Feel free to check out some of my other blogs that I have listed above...just click and enjoy!

Awws Shucks!

Toward the end of summer vacation...our house get to be "pretty boring"...or so that is what I have heard!

So, to fill up these "nothing to do" days, I gave the girls a little project....can you guess what it was?

Yep... I lined them up on the front porch...place a bag of corn between them...and said, "Start Shuckin'!"

Something new is always a fun way to pass time....and the third piece of corn got done...then the forth...and a few worms later, the girls soon realized that being "bored" wasn't such a good idea!

They did manage do make the best out of this chore and soon found silly ways to make the time pass by more quickly!

Soon...the corn was cleaned...the mess was picked up...and I had 4 little girls who managed to stay busy ALL DAY LONG!

News Flash!

Hey all you blog peeps!....Guess what we are doing?!?!?!?

I'll update more later once the computer has a new home and there is a path made through all the boxes!!!

Birthday Girl

I just don't know where it goes....time.
It is such a whirlwind of moments...moments that to quickly turn into memories.

I will never forget the feelings I grew the moment I met her...

and then she got a bit more hair and turned one....

and them she got some more cuteness and turned two...

and then she got an attitude and turned three....

and now look what happened...

yep...my baby turned four.

It is this year that I have noticed that she is gaining her independence.
She lets me know that she still needs me near...yet she can do so many things all by herself now.

She lets me know this as she whizzes on past me on the bike daddy brought home for her.

She rides and she rides...and I smile at her windblown hair and sparkling eyes...those blue eyes that I have seen so much laughter in since the day she was born.

I hate seeing her grow up....I love watching her grow up.

Shout Out!

I would like to give a "shout out" to a couple of sites that I would like to bring to your attention! I guess I am a bit biased because I actually know those involved, but I think they are totally worthy of your attention!

New House Pics...

...can I get a "woot-woot"?!?!?

July 4th

I have learned to accept the inevitable.
After years of trying....many hot and sweaty attempts...I accept the undoable.

It is just not going to happen.

The 4th of July is not the time for kid pics.
"Hey...you...look at mommy. Over hear...smile...hey, I'm talking to you!"

And this is what I get....

and this....
and this, too.

I guess is really isn't fair of me to even try. After all...with all those booms, bangs and pops going on...who can blame a kid to be in constant "AWE" mode!

So, from now on...I will be content sitting back in my chair...watching my kids enjoy the evening...and being the "lucky" one who gets to hold...oh, about 200 or so pieces of junk that I can't wait to trash once their heads are turned cute little parachutes that they so deserve keeping after the long chase to catch them!

Debute

"Okay....Okkaaaayyyy...I'm starting to catch on to this picture thing."

"I just lay in this basket and act all cute...then wait for the ohhhh's and ahhh's to begin"

"Oh yeah....a man can get use to this kind of stardom."

"Wait a minute...oh no...oh no...not now...oh please not now"

"This is suppose to be my big moment...my moment to shine!"
"I'm warning you....this ain't goin' to be purty."
"What?! WHAT?!?...this whole baby in a basket thing was YOUR idea. I was perfectly fine just chillin' in the carseat...but OH NO...you all just had to push the cuteness factor!"

"ppppbbbttt........."Deal with it, sucka's!"

"Now where were we...oh yes... I believe you were in the middle of those ohhh's and ahhh's!"

Newborn...

3 weeks old...
sweet as can be...
more to come!
