Welcome to Four Chickadees and Me blog! It is here that I share my often pointless thoughts...my over stressed feelings and stories that are just to crazy to keep to myself! And yes...most include my girls I like to think of as my little chickadees...they indeed follow me everywhere!

Feel free to check out some of my other blogs that I have listed above...just click and enjoy!

Who me?

Who stole the doughnuts from the doughnut box?

Who me?...couldn't be!

Then who?

Hmmm... I wonder who?

It's that time again

When you see things like this...you know that it is once again that time of year.

When you see little ones running around in tank tops and bare feet...their faces covered with various bits of sweetness...you know it is time again.

When you spend the afternoon packing up drinks, chairs, sunglasses, hats and mosquito spray...you know it is time again.

When you get to spend the evening visiting with good friends...and everyone agrees it is okay to yell at your kids....you know it is time.

When the muggy air is filled with girly giggles, chants and cheers...and you overhear plans for a midnight swim later that night...you know it is time.

Yep...it is indeed that time again...ball season!

Me love...alot.

As promised, here are a few pics of the girls...my little nuggets of love!

Madison is blooming...faster than I want. I catch glimpses of her throughout the day and think.."wow...when did this all happen?" She is still such a little kid at heart, but I fear that to shall one day fade away...so I hold on tight to these times. I pray that we will grow together and always have the privilege of calling one another "best friend"...she certainly is mine!

What can I say? These two keep me smiling! I have never seen such love between two people as I see between Callie and Abbie. It is something words can not explain...you have to witness it for yourself. I am so blessed that they open that circle of love everyday and pull me right in! They are two amazing little ladies!

And here we are...back to my little punk! She drives me crazy most of the time and insane with love all of the time! Whether she is reminding her daddy that he "forgot to get his kissie today", bossing her sissies around or snuggling in my lab, playing with my hair...she is (and will always be!) our little babydoll!

Me...again.

Ever been so tired that you don't even have enough energy to drag your rear out of the computer chair? Uhm...that's me tonight.

So here is another pic from Syd's "session" (hee-hee...its been so long since I have said that!)

Now I'm really going to bed this time... I'm serious.
(I am so in love with this little punk!)

On a super fast sidenote...Madisons Little League Softball team won their first game tonight... by ONE point! It was such an exciting game...they all did great! Just thought I would give her a little "woot-woot!" (I'll take some pics at her next game!)

Happy Day

I have photographed my children many time...usually all those time end up with a high levels of stress and I rarely get the image that I had hoped for. Not my kids faults...I just have ideas that have a hard time getting from my head to the printers!

But... I have learned over the years that the pics that I love the most are the ones that are not planned. Funny how that works, huh?

Today was just another one of those "awe" moments.

I decided to go ahead and take pics of Sydnee for her 4th birthday. Yes.. I realize that I am about 6 weeks early, but I foresee very busy days ahead (with us moving) and a possible shut down of my computer while things get boxed up! I am one of those types that HAS to look through my pics after taking them....so waiting for a computer and time to become available is not an option!

Anyways..pics went well.

I decided to go ahead and take some pics of the other girls since the weather was perfect and we were already out and about with a camera in hand!

After I took some pics of Madison, I looked over behind her and seen Sydnee in her own little world. I quickly snapped the camera back up from the bag and started to click away. I didn't even have time to readjust settings.. .I just wanted to capture that moment.

Aren't those unplanned moments the best?

I will share some of her other pics...along with some of the older girls in awhile! Give me a day or two.. .I have hardwood floors calling my name!

Whimsy

Since I am taking the day off from working on the house, I thought I had better take the time to get some pics taken for the house! Yeah...its always about the house...I just can't escape!

The girls have a really long hallway that leads to their bedrooms...so of course I need some pics for the walls! Their bedrooms are painted so bright and fun.. I had to have some pics to match!

So here is a little bit of whimsy...with a whole lot of cuteness!

Trouble

Just look at little Miss Molly May....wondering what she is watching so closely?

I'll give you a hint.......

You didn't think it would be anything but trouble...did you?

Young Love

Today I got to do something that I haven't done in a very long time....shoot in a studio!

My hands were shakey...my mind started to race...aperature?..shutter speed?....sync cords and booms?...did I charge the battery?.... did I even bring my camera?!

But... I soon realized that just like riding a bike....no matter how long it has been, you always seem to remember how to jump on and go! And everything ended up being okay!

For those of you that may be wondering...NOPE, it wasn't my studio! A friend of mine let me play in her studio for awhile....thank you Vanessa!

You may also be wondering....WHY?

MY SISTER IS GETTING MARRIED....like in about a month! They are going to be eloping in Colorado (how romantic!), so they wanted some pics of them together during this happy time!

We got some of the usual shots...but of course, I have to share with you one of the "not so usual" ones....which just so happens to be my fave!

Be open minded here....after all, we are talking about young love! She may let me share some more with you after she decides which ones she will be using for her reception invitations. I don't want to ruin any surprises!

Julie and Kyler....a little romantic.. a little sexy...a little emotional...a lot of love! (She is going to despise me for sharing this here, but I can't help it... they are both so "purty"!!!)

Puppy Love

Next month will be the 14th year that Mark has had the greatest pleasure of calling me his beloved wife! He is such a lucky man...wonder if he knows that?!?!

So... I have been thinking of some gift ideas that I would like to give him on our upcoming wedding anniversary.

How about a trip....we haven't had one of those in a long time...and one alone...never.
Hmmm....we just don't have time for that right now.

How about a nice piece of jewelry...a watch with a engraved message, perhaps?
Hmmm....to much money...plus he doesn't wear fancy jewelry.

How about a card with a box of chocolates?
Hmmmm....cheap and easy....yet not very personal.

How about....chocolate?...did I already mention that?
Chocolate.....chocolate.....hmmmm...

YES....I have an idea. A gift we can ALL love!

And if it was all meant to be (though a month early!)....this little chocolate lab became available to us!

Yep.. it has been pure ♥Puppy Love♥...just like 20 years ago when two crazy kids feel in love!

We are happy to welcome Little Miss **insert name here** (call me crazy, but I am letting Mark come up with this one!...he has until tomorrow to come up with a good one....and "poop drop" does NOT make the cut!)
