Welcome to Four Chickadees and Me blog! It is here that I share my often pointless thoughts...my over stressed feelings and stories that are just to crazy to keep to myself! And yes...most include my girls I like to think of as my little chickadees...they indeed follow me everywhere!

Feel free to check out some of my other blogs that I have listed above...just click and enjoy!

Week(s) in Pictures: October 24-November 28

The girls had a blast Trickin' & Treatin' with Aunt Polly!

Madi got to experience her first Junior High School Dance. She even got to bring along a goofy date (her cousin Cody)....they had a great time once I left after taking tons of pics!

I was so very THANKFUL to spend the holiday with family....and so very sad that my youngest sis Polly couldn't make it home this year! We will make it up to her with tons of hugs on Christmas!

*My sis Julie and her hubby Kyler and son Cody*
*Miss Sydnee*
*Mark and Callie*
*My mom...Grandma Jo-Jo*
*My dad (Papa) and Abbie*

*Yours truly and Madi*

*(Not picutred: Grandma Vera and about 100 other family members!!!!LOL)
Of course, we had to sprinkle a little bit of Holiday Cheer around the house! What a great way to start....our "birds of a feather" tree!
Cross your fingers....knock on wood....and I'll be back next week!

Week In Pictures: October 17-24

Sydnee learned about different kinds of apples at school...guess which kind she liked the best?

And then that caused Madi to go through an apple craze herself!
Parent/Teacher conferences gave this momma a big reason to smile!...I'm so proud of all the girls!

We took a little family trip to the Pumpkin Patch/Corn Maze in Independence. It was lots of fun...and lots of work! (the maze is about 1 mile long!) We recovered by filling up on Mexican food afterwards!
Madi cheered at the last football game of the season....basketball next!Syd playing Leapster....she loves to learn new things!

My life has just got much easier....who knew a washer and dryer could cause such happiness?!?! See ya next week!

Week In Pictures: October 10-17

Sydnee got to spend some extra time at home with the "sickies"!

Our home is surrounded with splashes of wonderful color...if only it would last forever!
We got to enjoy looking out the window at our new deck furniture...it was to cold out to sit on it!

We spend lots of time re-boxing up the things that are out of hand in the basement.

After some family team work....

And this is part of the reason that it got out of hand! Why are off-limit boxes so tempting?!?!?

Madison got to experience a TRUE football game...freezing your rear off on the sidelines!

We decided to pamper our little furbabies....Cooper got a much needed bath! (my mom is cringing right now seeing that dog in the tub!)

And Molly got some spoilin' like all ladies need to have once in awhile!

Don't notice anything at of the ordinary???...take a closer look!

Take care all!

Week In Pictures: Oct. 3-10

We started the week off with our annual Bible Gathering...filled with uplifting lessons, yummy meals and fun games for the kids!

Callie and Abbie got a butterfly kit for their B-day from Papa and they took it to their classroom to watch the process....they released the butterflies after 10 days.

You might notice a few new things on my front porch! Some fall flowers and wreath...and a cardboard box of guttering supplies! It got installed just in time...right before the big rain hit!

We gathered up some good eatin' and headed out to the backyard for a cookout!

After all that rain...cold weather came afterwards! I had no choice but to make veggie soup and homemade cinnamon rolls!

Week In Pictures : Sept. 26- Oct. 3

Homecoming Week at Elk Valley...which means Spirit Week!

Monday...Pajama Day!

Tuesday...Formal (Dress Up) Day!

Wednesday...Neon Day!

Thursday...Decade Day! (guess which era we chose?!)

Friday....Orange and Black Day!

A school parade down Main Street...

(Callie and Abbie's 2nd grade class)

(Junior High Cheerleaders....Go Cubs and Madi!)

The parade ended with a Pep Rally at the football field!

Even with the busy week...I made time to sprinkle some fall fun around the house!
